What this shows, and what it doesn't
It shows
Every federal grant and contribution to a for-profit business that started in 2021 or later, as the government publishes it. Amounts are the agreement value, which can be paid over several years.
It doesn't show
- Whether a program is still open. This is past funding; check with the department before you plan on it.
- Provincial and municipal programs, tax credits such as SR&ED, and loans from BDC.
- Money paid to individuals and sole proprietors. We leave people's names out on purpose.
About the plain-English summary
